Cape Town - After three successful years as a presenter on Afternoon Express, Bonnie Mbuli, has made the decision to leave the popular SABC 3 variety show.
She has been on the show since its inception in 2016 alongside Jeannie D and felt that it’s time for a new challenge in her career.
Bonnie has played a significant role in the evolution of Afternoon Express and is excited to take on fresh new opportunities to diversify her brand.

"I’ve built lifelong relationships at Afternoon Express and have had the opportunity to hear the stories of both international players and magnificent South Africans who are doing great things. Each and everyone of their stories impacted me positively and it has truly been an honour to be a conduit for such powerful and moving conversations”, she says.
There are a number of exciting projects that Bonnie has been working on that will see her return to her first love - acting. Known for the reputable work she’s done in film and television, the Soweto-born Actress is currently wrapping up production for BBC-One’s most anticipated drama series for 2019, Noughts and Crosses. The drama-series is based on a compilation of best-selling novels and is expected to air on BBC One later this year.
