Cape Town - Can you imagine Cardi B hosting a comedy talk show?

Well, on 9 April she’ll be Jimmy Fallon’s co-host on his late-night talk show and will be interviewing other celebrities, according to The Wrap. She’ll also become the first person to co-host the show.

The Bodak Yellow rapper will make her third appearance on The Tonight Show to promote her upcoming debut album, Invasion of Privacy, that drops on Friday.

But the show’s producers are hoping having Cardi co-hosting for the entire hour will boost its viewership.

The last time she was on the show her five-minute interview collected more than 16 million views, so the producers are definitely on the right track with this move.

Cardi’s overnight success can’t go unnoticed, though: she’s received two Grammy nominations for her breakthrough single, Bodak Yellow.
