Cape Town – The Fast and Furious bug has genuinely bitten Charlize Theron.
The Oscar-winning actress is producing her first-ever game/reality competition show, and it involves supped up fast cars!
Hyperdrive which will be released on Netflix on 21 August features Elite street racers from around the world who will test their limits in supercharged custom cars on the biggest, baddest automotive obstacle course ever built.
One of the racers featured is South African queen of spinning Stacey-Lee May.
MEET STACEY-LEE HERE:
Charlize shared the news of her new show on Instagram alongside a post with a picture of her and Stacey-Lee she wrote: "I've been wanting to get into the reality/competition TV game for a while and I'm SO excited to present to you a show I'm producing.
"It's basically "The Fast, and The Furious" meets "American Ninja Warrior", and in my biased opinion it's pretty badass. AND I got to drift with a fellow South African so that's a bucket list item I can happily cross off."
