Cape Town - BBC Studios in Africa announced on Thursday that its SAFTA award winning reality dining show Come Dine With Me South Africa will be returning for a fifth season on BBC Brit (DStv 120), from Monday 11 March at 20:00.
To kick off the new season off with a bang, audiences can look forward to a celebrity special premiere episode. The four celebrities taking part will be revealed from 18 February.
The series that gets everyone talking, will once again be produced by Rapid Blue and feature the hilarious and sometime savage commentary of voiceover legend Dave Lamb. The show will be bigger than ever before with 13 episodes this season, to really showcase the best of South Africa’s dinner party hosting abilities, so expect anything.
Come Dine With Me South Africa takes viewers into the homes of some of the country’s most extrovert and eccentric citizens to see if they have what it takes to be crowned the host with the most, and take home the much coveted cash prize of R10 000. Season five will visit Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
