Derek Watts shares throwback of very first Carte Blanche broadcast with Ruda Landman

Cape Town – Derek Watts totally wins throwback Thursday. 

In honour of Carte Blanche’s 30th anniversary the anchor posted a photo of him and Ruda Landman of the investigative show’s first broadcast in 1988. 

He captioned the picture: “#tbt In a rented studio in August 1988...the first #CarteBlanche broadcast.”

To celebrate the milestone a special live studio special live studio broadcast will air on Sunday 26 August on M-Net's (DStv 101) at 19:00.

The 90 minute episode will include a look back at its memorable moments, highlights and ground-breaking investigations over the past three decades.
