Cape Town - A royal source has slammed rumours which allege the Duchess of Sussex will be part of an upcoming Netflix series about second weddings, following her royal exit.

According to People, the 38-year-old won’t be making an appearance in the upcoming Canadian series I Do, Redo which is hosted by Meghan’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney.

A palace source recently disputed the circulating rumours that the former Suits actress will be joining the reality show and labelled it "categorically untrue", Express UK reports.

Taking to its Twitter page, Canadian broadcaster CTV, which has partnered with Netflix for the series, has further dispelled the rumours

“The Duchess of Sussex does not appear in upcoming @CTV series I Do, Redo,” the TV network said.

The surfaced rumour of the former actress joining the reality show comes after she and her husband, Prince Harry, decided to step back as senior royal family members and settle into their new life in Canada with their eight-month-old son, Archie.
