Cape Town – An early Bachelor SA frontrunner, Michelle Reddy, said goodbye to the man of her dreams and her happily-ever-after fantasy in the latest episode of the reality show.
The 29-year-old beauty left quite an impression on Lee the first night she met him receiving the coveted first impression rose.

A fan favourite from the beginning of the series she was a threat to the other ladies in the mansion.
She attended fewer group dates than anyone else and was the only one to be invited to two one-on-one dates. She was also the first lucky lady to receive a piece of jewellery from Jack Friedman Jewellers and Lee.
Many of the ladies questioned Michelle's connection with Lee, but the couple shared something special. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough in the end with Lee not giving her a rose during the most intense rose ceremony of the season, in Mauritius.
We chat with Michelle about her journey and if she is keen on being friends with Lee.
Lee kept saying that you are too guarded. Do you agree with that?
I do disagree. In my opinion, the guarded thought would stem from my past which I have respectfully left in the past and chose to focus on the present and future solely.
How difficult is it to be vulnerable to someone when they are dating two other women?
I think being vulnerable in a relationship is a special feeling. It shows that the person opening up is truthfully giving their all. I chose to eliminate the thought of other women being in a relationship with Lee, as in my mind it was a journey in isolation, for me.
Did you at any point during the Mauritius trip think that you were going to leave?
Mauritius was a game changer for me. It was a make or break moment. Unfortunately, I had disbelief in the connection that I had with Lee, hence why I questioned it during our adventure date, which led me to think that a rose was not going to be presented to me.
Lee suggested that he would like to remains friends. Is that something you would be open to in the future?
Of course, I would. We shared a unique journey, and our dates will be remembered forever. In being friends, we’d have a lot of content to speak about.
Viewers and the ladies in the house have said that you were not your true self. What’s your response to that?
I do admit that I was not open to forming questions with the ladies as my journey in its objective was to find love.
Knowing what you know now would you still have entered the show?
Yes, I do believe that this platform builds one character and allows for a different side to being exposed within various situations.
Are you still looking for love?
Yes, I am. I do believe in my happily ever after. I deserve it, and I know that I will have it.
