Everything you need to know about the Knock-Outs on The Voice SA

Cape Town –The Voice SA completed the second phase of the competition on Sunday.

The Battle Rounds in which two contestants from the same team are paired up to perform the same song, saw some epic performances and steals.

Next up is the third phase, a brand new round called The Knock-Outs.

Here's everything you need to know about the new round:

How does it work?

First off this round will determine who will make it to the Live rounds. Each singer will choose a song of their choice, and the coaches will then pair them.

But there's a plot twist!

The talent don’t know who they paired with. That will happen on the night.

Each singer does their song separately – and there are no steals. After both talent performed, their coach will decide who they thought was better, and take them through to the live shows.

The other talent will unfortunately leave the competition.

How many episodes?

There will be 3 Knock-Outs episodes in total, covering all 4 of the coaches’ teams one by one.
