Everything you need to know about the Live Rounds on The Voice SA

2017-05-16 13:50

Cape Town – The Voice SA has entered the final round of the competition.

From Sunday, 21 May viewers will be able to vote for their favourite.

Each live show will have a special guest performance including: Goodluck, MaJozi, Timo ODV and Gangs of Ballet.

Viewer can buy tickets for the live shows via Computicket

Here's everything you need to know about the new round:

How does it work?

The Live Final rounds will be eight shows.

Live show 1: Team Kahn and Team Karen will kick of the live performances.

Live show 2: Kahn and Karen each get to save one talent, the public’s vote will save one more. The results will be revealed and two will go home from each team. Team Lira and Team Bobby all perform for the public’s votes.

Live show 3: Results from previous week reveal which two talents from Team Lira and Bobby go home.

This leaves the competition with eight remaining singers – two from each team. From this week on, viewers are simply voting for who they want to win the competition. They will not be voting per team – it’s a free for all. This means that there may be one or even two coaches with no talent in the finale, so the stakes are higher for the coaches than ever before.

Live shows 4, 5, 6 and 7: The one person with the lowest amount of votes will go home each week

Live show 8: The Voice SA season 2 winner will be crowned on the big finale show.
