First look at Netflix’s second German original series Dogs of Berlin

Cape Town - Dogs of Berlin, Netflix’s second German original series, tells the story of two contrasting Berlin police detectives who become a team against their will – and are forced into a territorial battle with the Berlin underworld that confronts them with their own human weaknesses and criminal activities.

The show dives deep into the zeitgeist of Germany's capital city, where different cultures and lifestyles collide in a melting pot of hopes, dreams and fate.

Fahri Yardim and Felix Kramer play the unlikely detective team who have both lived through their own first-hand experience of Berlin's underground.

Other major roles in the series include Anna Maria Mühe and Katharina Schüttler, as well as Mohammed Issa, Deniz Orta, Katrin Sass, Sebastian Zimmeler, Alina Stiegler, Hannah Herzsprung, Antonio Wannek, Mišel Maticevic, Jasna Fritzi Bauer and Constantin von Jascheroff, and several cameos that will thrill German hip-hop fans.

The show will premiere on Netflix on 7 December.
