Her character will be introduced in a December crossover event between the network's other DC Comics shows, Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.
On Tuesday the first image of Rose in character was revealed. In the picture she is suited up as the iconic hero.
Rose posted the picture on Instagram with the caption: “First look. Crossover event. December 9 at 8pm ET.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter the costume was designed by Academy-award winner Colleen Atwood.
The series is currently in production and centres on Kate Kane aka Batwoman, a highly-trained street fighter with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind.
Rose faced some backlash after it was announced that she was cast as the character. The Australian actress has deleted her Twitter account and limited comments on her Instagram account.
Showrunner Greg Berlanti came to the actress’ defense saying that she is terrific in the role and that they are excited for people to see the story.
