Cape Town – Nathalie Emmanuel is the latest Game of Thrones actress to speak out about the backlash the show has received.
Ahead of the series finale in May angry viewers started a petition on Change.Org asking for a remake of the season with competent writers. To date, it has garnered 1 698 369 signatures.
Last week HBO boss Casey Bloys said at the Television Critics Association's press tour in Beverly Hills that remaking the finals season isn't something that the network seriously considered.

In an interview with the Associated Press Nathalie, who played Missandei on said the backlash to the way the show ended was ridiculous, adding she considers it a masterpiece.
"What I didn't enjoy and what I found somewhat ridiculous is people demanding we do it again. The blood, sweat and tears that went into it. Fine you didn't like the art, but you can't ask for receipts on an artist work," said the actress.
While Game of Thrones wasn't a massive hit with fans, it did receive a record 32 Emmy nominations.
