Generations let off the ‘hook’

Popular SABC 1 soapie Generations which came under fire a few weeks ago after being reported to The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) by viewers is off the hook.

Over 160 viewers were complaining about the explicit sex scenes between Smanga and Thabi  which were aired on the show on the 11 and 18th of July. However as much as BCCSA found Generations not guilty, the show should now give viewers warning according to the findings.

The show has to put the tag line; “Today’s episode may contain some scenes which involve suggestive sex. Viewer discretion is advised.”
