Cape Town - This Pride Month check out some of the best coming out moments proudly streaming on Netflix, ranging from side-splitting confessions to running-out-of-tissues sobbing.

CHECK OUT THE SHOWS HERE:

1. One Day at a Time (Season 1, Episodes 10-13)

At the end of the first season of the Norman Lear reboot, 15-year-old Elena comes out to her family one by one, each to mixed reactions, but ultimately ends with a touching show of support that young LGBTQ+ viewers must see on TV.

2. Grace & Frankie (Season 1, Episode 1)

As the main reason that fatefully brings Grace and Frankie together, Sol and Robert’s revelation is proof that it’s never too late to be happy with the one you love - even if it ends with Jane Fonda throwing seafood at the dinner table.

3. Master of None (Season 2, Episode 8)

In the Emmy-award winning episode, Lena Waithe writes and delivers an unforgettable performance on family, sexuality and race.

4. Alex Strangelove

In the new Netflix original film, a high school senior questions his relationship to his best friend and girlfriend after meeting a boy that causes him to rethink his sexuality.

5. Queer Eye (Season 1, Episode 4)

In a first for the Fab 5, they makeover the “Straightest Gay Guy in Atlanta” and help him come out to his stepmother in one of the most tear-jerking unscripted television moments of the year.
