Halloween just got real with DStv

Johannesburg - Monday 31 October sees the first ever DStv Halloween Night Run which will be held at the PwC Bike Park in Sandton, Joburg, at 19:00. The race is limited to 300 people and they will be running for their lives in this exclusive event. 

The Night Run promises entrants a 2km run through the stuff that nightmares are made of as on-screen horror is brought to life in the darkened night woods. And anything is possible on Halloween – especially in the dark!   


Adding extra treats to the Halloween festival this year, DStv will be bringing DStv Compact and Extra customers something special this Halloween weekend. From Friday 28 October to Sunday 30 October, premium channels M-Net (DStv 101), M-Net Edge (DStv 102) and Vuzu Amp (DStv 103) will be available to Compact and Extra customers absolutely free!

The Halloween weekend also holds some must-see goodies.

TCM (DStv 137) is serving up a 24-hour scare marathon starting at 23:15 on Sunday 30 October with legendary Alfred Hitchcock's psychological thriller classic Marnie and ending off with another hit, The Birds on Tuesday, 1 November at 00:20.

AMC (DStv 140) will host a Halloween weekend from Friday 28 October to Sunday 30 October so look out for Child’s Play (1988), Nightwatch (1997), Wolf (1994), The Faculty (1998), Dracula 2000 (2001), and Venom (2005).
