Harry Potter pops up on DStv

Johannesburg - Harry Potter fans, rejoice! M-Net has announced it’s bringing viewers a dedicated pop-up channel running from now until 13 November.

Leading up to the worldwide release of the latest JK Rowling film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, DStv channel 109 will broadcast all eight Potter films, as well as specials and features around the making of this hugely successful movie franchise.

The channel will run for 17 hours per day from 06:00 until 23:00, and the films will show every night at 20:00, with a repeat the next morning.

Some of the specials include 50 Greatest Harry Potter Moments, which looks back at the most memorable and treasured scenes from the movies, including the Quidditch World Cup and Harry’s first kiss.
