Cape Town – San Diego Comic-Con is one of the biggest TV and movie events on the calendar.

1. ARROW
Now in its seventh season Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) has been revealed as the Green Arrow. The trailer teases Oliver’s time in prison and The Longbow Hunters plan to get revenge.

2. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
After defeating Mallus the Legends were ready to ease off the gas.
That was until Constantine arrived to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with “Fugitives” – magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends.

3. SUPERGIRL
Nicole Maines will be TV’s first transgender superhero. She joins the cast as Nia Nal, aka Dreamer (Dream Girl) a “soulful young transgender woman with a fierce drive to protect others.”
Season 4 has surprises, action and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena and Brainy.

4. THE GIFTED
The new season picks up series picks up after the explosion of the Atlanta Station. The Mutant Underground search for their friends and family who left with The Inner Circle. Having tracked them outside of Washington, D.C., they face a new group with extreme ideologies, both human and mutant alike.

5. THE FLASH
The trailer gives fans their first look at Barry and Iris adjusting to parenthood, as well as a sneak peek at this season’s new big bad, Cicada.

6. DISENCHANTMENT
Viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fool.

8. LEGACIES
The spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
It follows the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, Hope Mikaelson, who is descended from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines. Two years after the events of The Originals, she and the Saltzman twins, Lizzie and Josie, attend the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The school provides a haven where beings such as vampire, werewolves and witches can learn to control their supernatural abilities and impulse

9. ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO
Another remake of a popular 90s series.
After returning to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers her teenage crush is an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect, but when a violent attack points to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him.

10. STAR TREK: DISCOVERY
Anson Mount has joined the show as Captain Christopher Pike who takes command of the USS Discovery due to a new mystery – the appearance of red flares across the galaxy. Rebecca Romijn will make guest-appearances as the new version of the USS Enterprise Starfleet character Number One that was originally portrayed by Majel Barrett Roddenberry.

11. TITANS
Brenton Thwaites star as Dick Grayson / Robin, the leader of the Titans, alongside Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, and Ryan Potter as Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy.
When Dick Grayson (Robin) and Rachel Roth (Raven) require assistance to deal with a plot that threatens the entire planet, they join with Koriand'r (Starfire) and Gar Logan (Beast Boy) to form the Titans.
