If you’re wondering why the Kill Them With Kindness hitmaker shared the teaser, it’s because she acted as the executive producer for the mystery drama.

13 Reasons Why, based on the best-selling series by Jay Asher, follows a young man on his pursuit to uncover why his school crush ended her own life.

News broke that Selena would be signing on as an executive producer for an unnamed series in June 2016.

The title and more info about the series has since been released.

13 Reasons Why premieres on Netflix on 31 March.
