The coronavirus won't stop the filming of the 19th season Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Filming for many shows were brought to a stop as a result of the pandemic, and due to the stay-at-home order in Los Angeles people are only allowed to leave their homes for essential needs.

With the family members being in isolation in their respective homes the season 18 finale of the reality show was filmed on their iPhones.

And now the family is filming the upcoming season this way too.

In an interview with Elle producer Farnaz Farjam worked together with momager Kris Jenner to set up a system where they could record their daily lives without the assistance of a camera crew.

Decked out in a hazmat suit, a director of photography and technician set up phone friendly tripods in each family members home. The tripods were cleaned with sanitiser, and they had to wait 24 hours before entering the room where it was set up.

She also explained that every Monday the iPhones with the footage is collected and that a new phone is delivered to record the next week.

About the new season Farnaz says she is excited for people to see how Kim Kardashian West juggles four kids in quarantine.

"Now people have been quarantining for a long time and have trusted people in their lives to help them out, but in the beginning, they didn't have that. Watching Kim juggle four kids will be really relatable. No matter how big her house is, four kids is four kids. It's a lot."

The new season is set to premiere in the US in September.
