Hugh Dancy joins wife Claire Danes for 'Homeland's' final season

Cape Town - Actor Hugh Dancy is teaming up with his real-life wife Claire Danes for the eighth and final season of TV drama Homeland.

According to E! Online Hugh will play John Zabel, a consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to President Warner (Beau Bridges).

In the final season Claire's character, Carrie Mathison is recovering after being in confinement in a Russian gulag for months. Dealing with memory issues from being tortured she is called on by Saul (Mandy Patinkin) to help negotiate with the Taliban.

Homeland is set to premiere later this year.
