Idols SA pays tribute to Mandoza during live show

Cape Town - ProVerb opened Sunday night’s episode of Idols South Africa with a tribute to Kwaito legend, Mandoza.

This comes after Mandoza, 38, died on Sunday morning after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in May of last year.

Mandoza's, whose real name is Mduduzi Tshabalala, family confirmed that he died after being taken to hospital.

The local version of the popular reality show airs Sundays at 17:00 exclusive to Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).

The show also paid tribute to Mandoza on Twitter:
