It's been 10 years since Breaking Bad first aired

Cape Town - Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Breaking Bad first aired on television?

The series centred on Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer.

Together with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), White turns to a life of crime by producing and selling crystallised methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future before he dies.

It went on to win 16 Emmy Awards an in 2013 it entered the Guinness World Records as the most critically acclaimed show of all time.

The show finished its original run in 2013 and spurred a spin-off show, Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk.

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary Entertainment Weekly brought together the cast Cranston, Paul, Odenkirk, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, and RJ Mitte and creator Vince Gilligan.
