It's happening! 'Friends' cast reuniting for HBO Max special

After months of speculation, reports have surfaced confirming that the cast of the popular series, Friends, will indeed be reuniting.

We're not freaking out, you are!

According to Variety, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox, and Matthew Perry will once again take to the Friends set for an "exclusive untitled unscripted" special on HBO Max.

The publication also says that each star will receive "at least $2.5 million (around R37.5 million at current exchange rate)" for being part of the reunion.

While HBO Max is set to launch in May, a date for the one-off special is yet to be confirmed, the BBC reports

Jennifer Aniston also confirmed the news on her Instagram account, sharing a photo with all six cast members titled, "It's happening".
