James Corden's South African accent is terrible - but it will make you laugh

Cape Town – A South African accent is a tough one for international actors to master.

With it being voted the second sexiest accent in the world we can see why everyone wants to try it.

James Corden and his guests on his show, The Late Late Show with James Corden tried their hand at it, and it didn't impress us.

On the episode, which aired on Wednesday, James asked David Tennant - who filmed Good Omens in the country last year - if he was able to grasp our accent.

"The South African accent is my Becher's brook. I cannot, I can't get it." says David.

He then goes on to say in his best version of the accent: "I can start off quite well, but it turns out like I'm coming from Birmingham."

David then asks James if he can do it.

To which James replies in his version: "I can do it, yes. You have to be here …it's here."

Elizabeth Banks also has a go drawing inspiration from Leonardo DiCaprio's accent in the film, Blood Diamond.
