Scandal! actress Kgomotso Christopher has shut down any rumours that she will be joining Mzansi Magic’s The River.
This is after a fan read an interaction between TV writer Portia Gumede and the actress, which made them believe that Kgomotso will be joining the hit show.

“This is scandalous! I'm throwing away my TV in the nearest river. YvonneBroken heart #ScandalEtv @kgchristopher wishing you the best in your next chapter. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. And I will get myself a new TV. Keep shining,” Portia tweeted after learning the news that Kgomotso will leave e.tv’s Scandal!.
Kgomotso’s response gave some the impression that she might be jumping ship for The River.
“Thank you dear friend...I know you have my back??...why are you talking about rivers,” she responded.
A fan then jumped to the conclusion that Kgomotso is going to join The River. But the award-winning actress shot down those hopes and made it clear that is not happening.
“I can confirm...I am not joining The River. Love the show though...even popped in to say hi to some of my friends there recently...they even let me look at the view from one of their balconies. Stunning horizons,” she confirmed.
e.tv announced earlier this week that Kgomotso will be “temporarily leaving”. The news was met with so much disappointment by her fans.
The actress has since been mum about her next move.
