Cape Town - Kit Harington "burst into tears randomly" for a month after he finished filming Game of Thrones but he thinks it ended at the right time.
In an interview with Esquire Townhouse the 34-year-old revealed that it was hard to say goodbye to his character Jon Snow.
He also went on to say that he would not go back to do more of the show.
The final season of the Emmy award-winning HBO show is set to air in 2019.
Harington added that he knows how it ends but hasn't even told his wife Rose Leslie, who played his love interest Ygritte in the series.
"I chose not to tell [her]. It's quite exciting walking around knowing no one knows... For this I was like I'm not telling anyone. I don't think she's guessed it right yet."
