kykNET unveils new look

Cape Town - kykNET has revealed a new on air look and logo’s on DStv with a new slogan; vol lewe (full of life).

Over the past eighteen years, kykNET has become a family of channels synonymous with quality driven, locally produced content that entertains viewers in every genre and on every available platform.

The three channels, each with its own unique identity, offers top-notch entertainment to anyone with an appreciation for Afrikaans – kykNET HD Premium, kykNET&kie HD and kykNET NOU! HD.

The new look and feel of the three channels represent a renewed commitment to the loyalty towards our viewers – inspiring, high-quality entertainment in exchange for your precious time.

According to Karen Meiring Director: kykNET channels: Continuous innovation and progressive thinking is important to stay ahead in this ever-changing media landscape. In a world where there is so much content available, we want to make sure we offer value for time.”

With this new visual identity, kykNET is getting up from the iconic blue couch to boldly venture into a bigger world – full of life, future driven and positive.

New comedies and drama

In April 2017 new comedies and dramas will debut on kykNET Premium (DStv-channel 144) and a few familiar faces return with fresh new seasons (Phil101, Glam Guru).

This amounts to 86 hours of new original content each week.

On kykNET&kie, viewers with a Family Bouquet will have a first time viewing experience of award winning series (Hotel, Die Boekklub).

kykNET NOU! will keep the beat and bring music to your ears with Classics is Groot.
