kykNET's legal eagles back for a second season

Cape Town – The popular kykNET law drama Fynskrif has been renewed for a second season.

The show centres on the law firm Van Wyk and Partners who take on various cases as attorneys at law balance their personal and professional lives.

Writers and producers Albert Snyman and Louis Pretorius said in a press statement that, "Fynskrif 2 builds on the first season and broadens the personal lives of the characters, as well as their professional lives."

The new season will take place three months after the ending of the first season with Van Wyk and Partners hanging by a thread after the name partner, Hans van Wyk (Chris van Niekerk) retires.

Lea Viviers and De Klerk Oelofse join the returning cast Tinarie van Wyk Loots, Jacques Bessenger, Cintaine Schutte, Beer Adriaanse, Edwin van der Walt, Kim Cloete, Charlton George, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp and Armand Aucamp. 

Season 2 premieres on kykNET (DStv 144) on Tuesday, 8 October at 20:00.
