After eight years with SABC 3’s soapie, Isidingo, Linda Sokhulu is finally leaving the show.
The actress is now joining eTV’s Rhythm City as Ziyanda – a smart and savvy businesswoman who is going to shake things up in the soapie.
Linda says her character will be a threat to both David Genaro – acted by Jamie Bartlett and Suffocate – acted by Mduduzi Mabaso, who owns the business space in the show.
“I am looking forward to playing Ziyanda. It’s a very challenging role. She is worldly and street smart, sexy driver. She knows exactly what she wants and is not afraid to speak her mind. David and Suffo have no idea what they’re in for!” says Linda.
Unlike her character in Isidingo where she played Nikiwe Sibeko, Ziyanda has a sense of humour but takes no nonsense from anyone.
It is said that Ziyanda will lure Suffocate into a bigger world of business. She will also challenge Suffocates’ relationship with Puleng (Tebogo Khalo).
