Cape Town - Mariah Carey is set to return to TV as a talent show mentor five years after her much talked about run on American Idol.
The singer has signed on as an adviser to Jennifer Hudson's team for the Knockout Rounds of the current season of The Voice in America.
Mariah announced the news on Tuesday via her Instagram.
In a post she wrote: "It’s a MOMENT. I’m advising for the @NBCTheVoice Knockouts starting Monday 8/7c! [sic]".
