ON THE CHARACTER

"I play the role of Gavin 'Bompie' Gelant. He is a young man struggling to get his father's validation and acceptance, to one day take over the underworld family business."

ON HIS STORYLINE

"Bompie sees Monique as a trophy wife, to show off to his dad and tries very hard to court her."

ON WHAT HE HOPES VIEWERS TAKE AWAY

"I hope that people enjoy the storyline and take the time to understand it and not be quick to react to what they see. Film and television are there to entertain but also to educate and shed light on extremely difficult topics."

ON BEING PART OF THE SHOW

"Arendsvlei has taken South African television into a new phase of storytelling that is real and has a realistic appeal. To be part of this show just made sense to me but it was also about timing and finding a character that works. And I think we've managed to get it right. So now we let it out into the world and let the audience enjoy great television."

Tune in to Arendsvlei Monday – Wednesday at 20:00 on kykNET & Kie (DStv 145).
