Cape Town - Watch the Nickelodeon 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) and NickToons (DStv channel 308) on Wednesday at 15:40. 

Hosted by wrestling star, John Cena, the Nickelodeon 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards celebrate kids’ favourites from film, television, music and pop culture.

Nickelodeon recently announced the nominations for the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards, which feature an all-star list, including Henry Cavill, Daya, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Megan Fox, Dwayne Johnson, Felicity Jones and more. This year also features multiple new categories that are unique to this awards season, such as Favourite African Star, Favourite Frenemies, Most Wanted Pet and #Squad.

This year’s nominees for Favourite African Star are Yemi Alade, Funke Akindele, Wayde van Niekerk, Trevor Noah, Lupita Nyong’o and Pearl Thusi.
