Cape Town – Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) has warned viewers that the contact number for their show Please Step In has been hacked and compromised.

The reality show hosted by trained counsellor Angie Diale seeks to resolve pressing family issues through an intervention by a family member.

The channel said in a statement that the culprit scams the public out of their hard-earned money by pretending to be the presenter Mam' Angie. The fraudulent number is 076 248 3256.

"Please note that Connect tv and Mzansi Magic under no circumstances accepts money from people that need help on Please Step In.

"People on our shows appear out of their own free will and without having to pay to appear on our platforms", read the statement.

If you would like to contact Please Step In the correct number is 078 717 4563.
