Cape Town – If you thought Joe’s murder spree is over, think again.
In a cheeky tweet on their official Twitter account on Tuesday, 14 January, Netflix announced that a new season of You is officially in the works.

The psychological thriller, based on the books by Caroline Kepnes, failed to make an impact when it first premiered on Lifetime in the United States, but once it reached Netflix in 2018 it was an instant hit.
On 26 December 2019 Netflix launched the second season of the show globally to great fanfare and even better reviews.
Now the streaming service, known for culling shows after their second season, is renewing the show for season 3.
In the first season of You, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) meets graduate student and aspiring writer Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) at his bookstore and falls in love at first sight. We all know how that ends.
In season two Joe (now Will Bettelheim) moves to Los Angeles and meets Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) and falls madly in wolf. The second season ends on a cliffhanger.
With the news of season 3 on the way, viewers are keen to meet the new neighbour on the other side of the fence.
