Hey all you cool cats and kittens it's official Netflix is adding one more episode to it's most talked about docu-series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

The 7-part series followed eccentric roadside zoo owner Joseph Maldonado-Passage, known as Joe Exotic, and the events that would eventually lead to him hiring a hitman to take out his longtime rival, animal rights activist, Carole Baskin.

Last week Jeff Lowe - who now owns Joe's zoo - teased that a new episode is in the works.

On Thursday the streaming service announced that it would release an eighth episode titled The Tiger King and I on 12 April.

In a video posted on their Twitter account comedian Joel McHale revealed that he will be hosting the aftershow episode.

He also shared that he interviewed people from the show including John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman, and Jeff and Lauren Lowe.

"I talk to a lot of people involved in the project. To see what's happened in their lives since the release of the series. It's eye-opening and, hopefully, funny," says Joel

The story of Joe Exotic has become a hot commodity since it was released on 20 March.

A limited series starring Kate McKinnon is in the works and 20th Century Pictures is reportedly planning a movie following the success of the documentary.

And now Fox and TMZ have also jumped on the bandwagon with a one-hour special titled TMZ Investigates: Tiger King — What Really Went Down? which will air on Monday in the US.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it will feature interviews with people connected to Joe and never-before-seen-footage. It will also explore if Joe is 'really guilty' of the crime he was convicted of and what happened to Don Lewis, Carole Baskin's former husband.
