Nicole Kidman: Meryl Streep raised the bar on 'Big Little Lies'

Cape Town - Nicole Kidman admitted that having Meryl Streep join the cast of Big Little Lies for the second season of the drama "elevated" the entire production, and everyone loved watching her work.

Nicole told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Meryl is just amazing."

Meryl will play Mary Louise Wright, mother-in-law to Nicole's character, Celeste.

Mary Louise comes seeking answers about last season's violent death of her son, Perry, played by Alexander Skarsgard.
