'Nuusdag' on e.tv to be discontinued

Johannesburg - Openview will discontinue its Afrikaans news offering Nuusdag, which airs weekdays at 18:00 on eExtra channel 105.

The show's last broadcast will be Friday, 1 November 2019.

Current affairs show Nuusdag Perspektief, which airs Sundays at 18:30 also comes to an end. 

The decision to let go of Nuusdag comes on the back of a revised strategic business approach. 

Openview continues to provide quality Afrikaans drama programming such as Die Vreemdeling and Gebroke Harte in the viewer favourite two-hour Afrikaans block. Gebroke Harte and Die Vreemdeling air weekly at 19:00 and 20:00, respectively.
