PICS: Naomi Watts to star in new Netflix thriller series

Cape Town – Naomi Watts will star in a new psychosexual thriller on Netflix.

In Gypsy Naomi plays a therapist who develops intimate and illicit relationship with her patients. As the lines between her personal and private life blurs her world starts to crumble. 

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Noami describes her character as woman who has a lust for power. 

"She’s sick of living her life according to what she thinks she’s supposed to do," says Noami. 

The 10 episode series written by Lisa Rubin will premiere on Netflix later in the year.

The series also stars Billy Crudup, Sophie Cookson, Lucy Boynton and Karl Glusman.
