PICS: Saftas hands out first awards

Cape Town – The 11th annual South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas) is in full swing.

The awards ceremony is the premiere event on the South Africa TV and film calendar as it honours the best in the local industry.

The first batch of awards were handed out Thursday evening in Sun City. 

Among the winners were Karen Zoid who bagged the Golden Horn for Best Talk Show Host. Alongside a picture of the award on Instagram Karen thanked her crew.

The Expresso Show won the award for Best Variety Show.
