'RuPaul's Drag Race' spills the tea on Meghan Markle's almost appearance

Cape Town – The Duchess of Sussex almost made an appearance on RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

Host RuPaul revealed in an interview that he invited Meghan to take part in the upcoming royal challenge as part of the show's judging panel, but she was heavily pregnant with Archie at the time.

Speaking to the Sunday Times, he said: "The invitation is still open for season 2," adding, "Meghan's arrival in the Royal Family marks a whole new era. I like the way she challenges the norm."

The 58-year-old won the award for Outstanding Host at the Creative Emmy awards this Sunday. This is his fourth consecutive win. (Read more here)
