Minnie Dlamini’s wedding show, Becoming Mrs Jones, has ended. It was a three-part special of Minnie’s journey to marriage and the ratings went through the roof – breaking records all over the place. These are our favourite moments from the show:
1. Minnie’s vows
Her words to her husband, Quinton Jones, left many in tears and made us wish we were getting married too. The passion and smile on her face as she said them had us believing true love exists.
2. Priceless smile
Happiness was written all over Quinton’s face as he watched his bride walk down the aisle.
3. Mini Minnie
The first episode started off with a slide show of Minnie’s baby-to-teen pictures. It was beautiful to witness Minnie’s growth.
4. Girls living it up in Paris
Minnie had her bachelorette party in Paris and, boy, did it look fun! Seeing the girls dancing on tables, twerking in the street and shopping till they dropped had us wishing we were part of Minnie’s squad. #SquadGoals
5. The traditional wedding
Seeing two people from different cultures and races unite in a beautiful ceremony was amazing. Not to mention the bright and lively outfits.
6. Picking the perfect dress
Minnie, her mom and future mother-in-law went to a boutique to try on a few potential wedding dresses. We’re still in awe of how perfect all the dresses looked on her, even though she ended up choosing a dress designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee.
7. The Mi Casa Surprise
Quinton surprised Minnie by getting Mi Casa to perform at their wedding. How lucky is she?
