Sofia Vergara tops highest paid TV actress list

Cape Town - Sofia Vergara has just been named the highest paid actress on TV for a seventh year in a row.

Forbes Magazine has released the highest-paid TV actress list for 2018 with The Modern Family actress earning a whopping $42.5 million.

Coming in at number two is Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco with $24.5 million and Ellen Pompeo at number three with $23.5 million.

Rounding out the top five is Mariska Hargitay at number 4 and Vergara's co-star Julie Bowen takes number five. 

Newcomers on the list are Big Bang's Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch with a tie in number 6.
