Cape Town - We all love a good laugh and Somizi Mhlongo is one of the celebrities who’ve tickled South Africans for years with his over-the-top and charismatic personality. So it’ll be interesting to watch how other celebrities make fun of him!
Comedy Central’s upcoming show, Roast of Somizi, will air on Comedy Central (DStv 122) on Monday 7 May and it’s been revealed that DJ Fresh and South Africa’s sweetheart Nomzamo Mbatha will be panellists.
According to People Magazine, DJ Fresh is excited about being on this show. “As someone who not only loves Comedy Central Roasts, but actually owns copies of all of them to date, it’s quite surreal to be a panellist for the Comedy Central Roast of Somizi.”
Somgaga threw some shade upon finding out Fresh and Nomzamo would be roasting him. “She’s the only person without talent that has made the most money,” he said about Nomzamo.
And about DJ Fresh, he said, “He’s huge, he’s tall and he sounds like he ***,” – saying something that had to be censored in true Somgaga style!
So far it’s been announced that Gareth Cliff is Roast Master and Ntsiki Mazwai, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Skhumba and Kurt Darren are a few of the other panellists.
