StarSat gets its own new local telenovela

Johannesburg - Exclusively available on StarSat, Maseko Ties is a new medical drama series that promises to be full of glamour, opulence and intrigue. Its tagline, “bound by blood, frayed by desire”, encapsulates the essence of the show. It’s centered on the Masekos, a well-to-do family, and their hidden ties of jealousy, dangerous ambition, manipulation and defiance that threaten to unravel them. 

The show will see patriarch Dr John Maseko fight to preserve his family’s legacy.

His three daughters must fight to have their own way, despite their father’s need for control.

This looks like a deliciously cheesy, salacious show.
