Cape Town – Hot on the heels of his great performance in Trackers Thapelo Mokoena has bagged a role in an international police drama.
The Broken Vows actor shared the exciting news on his Instagram: "Bulletproof. The cat's out the bag. It's our time! I am incredibly grateful and proud to be part of this amazing UK series special. I'm forever grateful for this incredible journey in the Arts. Mission Take Africa to the World is well in progress."

Dubbed the Bad Boys of the UK, Bulletproof - which airs on Universal TV (DStv 117) - centres on Aaron Bishop (Noel Clarke) and Ronnie Pike (Ashley Walters), two policemen who are best friends and bonded by the same moral code, despite their very different backgrounds.
Set in London, it's a fun, authentic, action-packed ride around the city as Bishop and Pike tackle the bad guys in their own uncompromising style, all while maintaining their friendship, their relationships and taking on ghosts from the past.
Season 2 will see the pair go undercover to infiltrate an international crime empire.
Thapelo will star in a three part special currently being filmed in South Africa.
Sky Studios said in a release that the series will have more action, car chases, as Bishop and Pike take a thrilling journey into the underworld of Cape Town.
While the cast and crew are not on set they have been enjoying the sights in the Mother City.
