The first teaser for Dear White People season 2 is out

Cape Town – Netflix has announced the release date for Dear White People season 2.

The series is based on the 2014 indie feature film by Justin Simien’s which follow a diverse group of students who navigate various forms of racial and other types of discrimination in a fictional Ivy League university.

The first season of the satirical drama had tongues wagging. (Read more here)

The series tackles an array of issues such as: cultural appropriation, sex and gender norms to name a few. 

The cast which include Logan Browning, Marque Richardson, John Patrick Amedori, DeRon Horton, Brandon P Bell and Antoinette Robertson are all back to reprise their roles. 

In the 54 second clip we get a taste of what's to come a glimpse of the new characters which include Emmy award-winner Lena Waithe.
