Cape Town - Following hot on the heels of the hugely popular ITV Choice series The Voice UK, comes The Voice Kids, the junior version of the reality singing show which will screen on the channel (DStv 123) on Saturdays and Sundays from 18h00 to 19h00 from Saturday, 23 June, and run for four weeks.

The series will be the 2017 edition which was on UK screens last year.

The Voice Kids, with the age limit being 7 to 14 years old, has a slightly different format than the adult version as there are no Knockout Rounds, just four stages: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Semi-Finals and the Live Final. The winner receives around half a million rand (£30 000) and a family trip to Disneyland Paris.

The coaches are will.i.am, Danny Jones (from McFly) and Pixie Lott, while the show is hosted by Emma Willis (who also hosts the The Voice UK).

Also awesome is the news that the 2017 series will be followed by the 2018 series of The Voice Kids on ITV Choice in July, which will be broadcast within only a couple of weeks of the UK transmission.
