Big cat enthusiast Jeff Lowe is reportedly getting his own reality show.
In case you missed it, the Netflix documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness follows the life of eccentric roadside zoo owner Joe Shreibvogel, known as "Joe Exotic", and the events that would eventually lead to him hiring a hitman to take out his rival, animal rights activist, Carole Baskin.
Jeff, who was Joe's former friend and business partner, took ownership of Joe Exotic's G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial zoo after her went to prison. On Monday, a judge granted Carole Baskin ownership of the zoo though.
Jeff told People that he and wife, Lauren Lowe are signed for a show that "will divulge a lot more information about the relationship between" him and Joseph Maldonado-Passage, who is currently serving 22 years in prison.
He further told the publication that it would show their side of the story and follow them as they open a new zoo the Tiger King Park in Oklahoma later this year.
"It will be about the transfer of all these beautiful animals from Joe's facility to the new facility. And then the day-to-day struggle of running something as big as a 60-acre animal park and all the intricacies of the employment of zookeepers and fighting all of the animal rights groups."
Jeff did not say when the project will be released, and on which network it will air. He did share that they have started filming B-roll.
