Every cop has a partner, and the bond between them is akin to blood relatives. John Reardon is detective Charlie Hudson whose canine partner is a German shepherd called Rex. Together, they investigate and infiltrate the criminal underworld. The season premiere kicks off with Charlie and Rex tracking the trail of a kidnapped girl before it's too late.

Actor and television presenter Reggie Yates travels to LA and delves more into the revolutionary change of television. People of colour like Tyler Perry have been instrumental in telling stories that resonate with black people, by black people. Race and identity have driven conversations in Hollywood with doccies like Dear White People, Insecure and Atlanta. Reggie meets with Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (Green Book) and Lena Waithe (The Chi).
