WATCH: Everyone is looking for Jughead in the first trailer for 'Riverdale' season 4

Cape Town – Where's Jughead? That's the question on everyone lips.

On Wednesday the CW released the first trailer for season 4 of Riverdale.

In the clip it looks like Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica have reunited, Betty (Lili Reinhart) gets knocked out by someone, and there's a search party out looking for a missing Jughead (Cole Sprouse).

Based on the characters from the Archie Comics, Riverdale centres on a group of teens who juggle school, romance and family life while discovering their town's dark secrets.

Earlier this year creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced that there would be a special tribute episode for Luke Perry.

The actor who played Archie's dad, Fred Andrews in the show died in March after suffering a massive stroke.

Shannon Doherty, Luke's former Beverly Hills co-star is set to make an appearance in the episode.
